    Preoperative preparation, anxiety, nausea, digestive disorders, acute or chronic pain, non-pharmacological rehabilitation (pain treatment without anti-inflammatory drugs)
  • Neuropsychology
    Anxiety or mood disorders, chronic fatigue, headaches, migraines
  • Breathing
    Asthma, spontaneous breathing difficulties or as part of a chronic illness
  • Otorhinolaryngology
    Asthma, chronic sinusitis without infection, chronic cough
  • Digestion
    Reflux, functional digestive disorders (constipation, abdominal pain), overweight
  • Urology
    Dysuria without infection, incontinence
  • Gyneco-obstetrics
    Dysuria, menstrual pain, endometriosis, menopause
    Pregnancy: vomiting, version
  • Osteoarticular system
    Chronic pain, rehabilitation, inflammatory diseases, non-pharmacological pain treatment
  • Allergology
    Asthma, rhinitis, skin diseases
  • Addictions
    Tobacco, alcohol, anti-inflammatory drugs, opiates, eating disorders
  • Cancerology
    Side effects of cancer or treatment, anxiety, fatigue, nausea / vomiting, pain
  • Pediatrics
    Anxiety and mood disorders or agitation, functional digestive or urological disorders, pain
  • Geriatrics
    Sleep disorders, fatigue, anxiety, depression, chronic pain

The above is a list of the pathologies that have been most studied and used, and for which there is good evidence of effectiveness. Of course, there are many other indications in the literature, sometimes extreme or a rather surprising and for which there is little or no evidence.

Contraindications

Contraindications

There are very few contraindications in the field of acupuncture and auriculotherapy.

An infection or skin lesion at the site of the puncture is obviously a contraindication to puncture. As a consequence, it is then necessary to choose alternative points, from over 600 points in acupuncture and more than 130 in auriculotherapy, some of which are complementary or interchangeable.

Taking anticoagulants may be a relative contraindication, the patient will be warned that there may be some minor bleeding and less deep approaches, such as medical bugs, cryopuncture or massage of the points, will be preferred.
